Breakfast Club THIS Sunday

Hello all!

This Sunday we will be taking our 2nd Breakfast Club field trip of the year to….I believe the kids decided Smokey Row again, but I can’t remember. It will be to Smokey Row, McDonalds on 6th Ave., or Panera on 10th and Walnut. We will meet in the Fireside lounge at approximately 10:10am and leave ASAP.  We will return by 10:50am hopefully! Please send a little cash with them.

If a parent is willing to drive please let me know! Did I mention drivers’ food is covered!??  Oh, if you turned in your student’s permission slip for the year then you don’t need to fill out another one!

Thanks!

Confirmation Parents and Youth

Thank you to all that helped out with the auction this past Friday and to those of you who attended! The evening was wonderful and we were very successful in our fundraising efforts!

If you have looked at your calendar for the year that I gave you in August, you know that there is a Holy Week practice THIS Saturday morning at church from 9am-12pm. We are keeping this practice on the schedule because it is the only Saturday other than March 31st that we get to practice for Holy Week.

If you have no idea what I am talking about, your child will be bringing home some info this Wednesday about Holy Week and why we do what we do here at St. John’s. I will also be emailing you a copy of the info on Thursday.

All you need to know right now is that it is super important that your child be here Saturday morning. If he or she cannot make it please let me know ASAP. We will be practicing for our part in the Maundy Thursday service (Thursday, April 5th) and for our part in the Easter Vigil service (Saturday, April 7th). You student will also be expected to be at Good Friday service (Friday, April 6th). Please let me know if your student will be out-of-town for any or all of these services because we will be assigning parts this Saturday.

Thank you so much!

Megan
