Palliative Care, presented by Carolyn Dorner, M.D.
During February 18-22, 2008 Dr. Carolyn Dorner and four other team members
presented a 5 day workshop on Collaborative Palliative Care in Tanzania to
medical and spiritual caregivers. Carolyn's topic predominately dealt with
pain including definitions, classifications, documentation and means of
relief. Other topics addressed the multiplicity of factors associated with
terminal illness. During the adult forum at 10am on May 4, Carolyn will
discuss a little about preparing for the conference, and topics she
presented, experiences and impressions during the presentation and will
attempt to answer any questions you might have. Please join us. |
