Mark holds a B.A. from Harvard University, 1974, M.D. University of
Minnesota, 1978: Internal Medicine at University of Minnesota, 1978-81;
M.P.H. from John's Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health,
1982 |

Linda has a B.A. from Agnes Scott College in Decatur, GA. 1975, M.P.H. from
John Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health, 1982. |
Mark served as Community Health Consultant with CORAT AFRICA in Nairobi,
Kenya from 1982-85. |

Linda served as Population /Health Assistant under the U.S. Agency for
International Development from 1982-85. |
Mark is a medical doctor for the Arusha Region of Tanzania, where he is
director of the Maasai Health Service Project, Doctor in charge of Selian
Hospital, and Regional AIDS Coordinator. |

The Jacobsons began their journey as missionaries in 1985. Their home church
is Trinity Lutheran in Stillwater, MN. They have 3 children, Laura,
Sarah and Katherine.
