Instrumentalists in Worship

Bell Canto
Frances Paterik, Director
Rehearsals: East Transept on Thursdays 6:00 – 7:00 pm
This handbell choir is open to anyone with music reading skills and a good sense of rhythm. The group normally performs at the 11:00 am service.

Chamber Orchestra
Larry Christensen, Director
Rehearsals: 10:00 am Sundays in Fuller Choir Room
This is a new ensemble for St. John’s this year, at least in the sense of having regular rehearsals. The chamber orchestra is open to high school through adult musicians who have a reasonably good command of their instrument.

Instrumental Ensembles
Consists of a group of versatile musicians who play keyboards, guitars, and percussion to accompany portions of the liturgy and psalms for which that style and sound is appropriate. Rehearsals are by agreement, and if you are interested in being part of this experience talk to Larry Christensen.
