After School Arts Program
About the Program:
Known as ASAP, the After School Arts Program was created in the fall of 2007 as an outreach to 3rd-5th-grade students attending schools in the St. John¹s neighborhood who have a talent and interest in the arts. After two years, ASAP filed for 501(c)(3) non-profit status and incorporated under the name Arts for the City, Inc. Programming continues to take place at St. John's and a majority of volunteer staff are St. John's members. ASAP is supported entirely by donations, gifts, and grants.
